Cleaning / Lubrication
After prolonged use, the plunger may become sluggish. If this happens, the o-ring on the end of the plunger needs to be lubricated.
Your vaccinator should now work properly
Cleaning / Lubrication- Fill sink or tub with warm, soapy water.
- Take the barrel off vaccinator and submerge the vaccinator, barrel, tubing and draw-off (if tubing and draw-off is needed with vaccinator) in the warm, soapy water.
- Allow them to soak.
- Remove parts from soapy water, rinse with clean water and reassemble the vaccinator.
- Place the open end of the tubing or just the vaccinator (if no tubing is used) in water and begin pumping vaccinator to draw water through to flush the system.
- Clean sink or tub and refill with clean water.
- Submerge the open end of the tubing or just the vaccinator (if no tubing is used) into clean water and begin pumping vaccinator to remove the residue.
- Follow directions for lubrication in the next column.

- The Prima barrel can be removed by loosening barrel collar (the Prima MARC™ barrel can be removed by turning the barrel although you may need to use a pair of pliers to do this, BE GENTLE). the barrel can then be pulled out.
- Using olive, cooking or vegetable oil (NOT MINERAL OIL), submerge the o-ring in the oil. DO NOT TAKE O-RING OFF THE PLUNGER.
- Remove plunger from oil.
- Reassemble the vaccinator.
Your vaccinator should now work properly
